Dinner at Spago!

Located within the restaurant area of Beverly Hills is Spago, a Restaurant serving fresh handmade pasta and other modern Australian dishes with an Italian twist in a mix of classic and contemporary setting with friendly service.

A 3 courses weekday set menu is available from Sunday to Thursday for AUD$39 p/p, including an entrée, pasta or risotto, dessert and coffee or tea. Additional upgrades are also available.

As our entrée we choose the Angus beef carpaccio with horseradish cream, capers, crispy slices of parmesan and truffle oil; this was a delicious and beautifully presented plate. We also had the lobster bisque, a tasty creamy lobster soup with blue swimmer crab meat and double cream.

For our main, we ordered a well seasoned and full of flavour squid ink spaghetti, combined with blue swimmer crab meat, garlic, chili, cherry tomato and lemon olive oil. We upgraded the main for one of the specials of the day and ordered the gnocchi with duck ragú and napolitana sauce, a generous and filling plate topped with Parmesan cheese.

For our dessert we had Spago's tiramisu, which is without a doubt the best we have ever tasted. It had a base cake layer soaked in liqueur and the tiramisu was covered with grounded coffee.

We also ordered the Panna Cotta (one of our favourite desserts), it was creamy and delicious.

Bookings are required. This is a fully licensed & BYO restaurant.

Our Restaurant reviews are objective, the Foodiespage team paid for their meals.
