Lunch at Cafe Birkenhead!

After having a hectic shopping day at the Birkenhead's outlets, all we wanted was to enjoy some good food and a seat. Unfortunately, most of the coffee shops & eateries are closed by 4PM at this shopping mall.
Cafe Birkenhead was our great finding of the day, and it came to our rescue with some tasty and comforting food options, refreshing fresh juices and a nice and relaxed atmosphere.
Their lunch food menu includes gourmet sandwiches, healthy salads, 5 different types of burgers (including a vegan style), pasta, risottos, meat and fish mains. They also have a breakfast menu.
A kids menu is also available with options such as fish, chicken schnitzel or cheese burger, served with chips.
Their drinks menu includes hot and cold beverages, fresh juices, smoothies.
The Foodiespage Team tried the following options:
Caesar salad with eggs, bacon, croutons, parmesan cheese and homemade dressing
Paprika prawn sandwich, and interesting and unusual option served with guacamole, smashed chips, tomato and cucumber salsa and topped with melted smoked cheese. As a side included a small plate of tasty cooked skin on potatoes
The Birkenhead burger with a beef patty with crispy parma ham (tasted like bacon), sliced tomato, mixed greens, caramelised onions, topped with melted cheese and creamy aioli. As a side included delicious and crispy chips served with BBQ sauce
Go green fresh juice, made with apple, celery, cucumber, mint & lemon
Lemon twist fresh juice, made with lemon, carrot and apple
All the food was delicious, carefully prepared and well seasoned. The restaurant setting is comfortable and has lovely water views. The staff was friendly and all the food was served without delay.
